Day 1 Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, the financial and commercial center of China. You will be met by your guide and transferred to the four-star Shanghai Hotel.

Day 2 Shanghai (B, L)

Full day tour takes you to visit the major attractions including the Yu Garden at the Old Quarter. It was built by the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. Now it has been restored and become one of the most popular tourist sights in Shanghai. Continue to visit Shanghai Museum, the first museum in China that meets international exhibition standard. It is in the possession of a collection of 123,000 cultural artifacts in 21 categories, mainly the exhibitions of painting, bronze, sculpture, ceramics, calligraphy, jade, Ming & Qing Dynasty furniture, coins, seals, and ethnic artwork. The bronze collection is said to be the best in world.

After a lunch at local Shanghai Cuisine restaurant, you will visit the famous waterfront Bund, the historical street comparable to a Chinese Wall Street where tourists can get a taste of the Shanghai high-life. The rest of the day is free for you to shop at Nanjing Road.

Day 3 Shanghai (B, L)

After breakfast, you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple, one of Shanghai's few Buddhist temples, attracting lots of local and overseas Chinese tourists every year. Then drive to the Shanghai Urban Planning Museum. Located in People's Square, the museum highlights the history of Shanghai, and outlines how the city has developed.

Day 4 Shanghai (B, L)

Full day visit the Shanghai World Expo Site and pay visit to different pavilions at your interests.

Day 5 Shanghai (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight to the next destination.
