Pick up at your Shanghai hotel and start your full day tour to visit the major attractions including the Yu Garden at the Old Quarter. It was built by the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. Now it has been restored and become one of the most popular tourist sights in Shanghai. Continue to visit Shanghai Museum, the first museum in China that meets international exhibition standard. It is in the possession of a collection of 123,000 cultural artifacts in 21 categories, mainly the exhibitions of painting, bronze, sculpture, ceramics, calligraphy, jade, Ming & Qing Dynasty furniture, coins, seals, and ethnic artwork. The bronze collection is said to be the best in world.

After a lunch at local Shanghai Cuisine restaurant, you will visit the Shanghai World Expo pavilions. Enjoy your time in different pavilions. Then continue to visit the famous waterfront Bund, the historical street comparable to a Chinese Wall Street where tourists can get a taste of the Shanghai high-life.

Yu Garden -- located at the northeastern end of Shanghai, it was built by the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. And it took 18 years (1559 to 1577) to reach maturity (though it was destroyed by a bombardment during the Opium War in 1842). Now it has been restored and become one of the most popular tourist sights in Shanghai.

Shanghai Museum -- The Museum is located at the People's Square in downtown area of Shanghai. Opened in 1996, this is the first museum in China that meets international exhibition standard. It is in the possession of a collection of 123,000 cultural artifacts in 21 categories, mainly the exhibitions of painting, bronze, sculpture, ceramics, calligraphy, jade, Ming & Qing Dynasty furniture, coins, seals, and ethnic artwork. The bronze collection is said to be the best in world.

Bund -- The Bund is the historical street comparable to a Chinese Wall Street where tourists can get a taste of the Shanghai high-life. Generally speaking, Bund represents the 24 architectures along from No.1 to No.33, west of No.1 East Zhong Shan Road. Most of them are bank buildings. The others include the commercial buildings, national organizations, restaurants, clubs, press, etc.
