Beijing Chengde and Tianjin Tour

Day 01 Beijing (L, D)

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport outside the luggage claim area with your name displayed and then transferred to the four-star E-house Zpark Hotel or similar. Morning program takes you to Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City, the residence of Chinese emperors for more than 500 years. Tonight you will watch the Chinese Acrobatic Show.

Day 02 Beijing (B, L, D)

The highlight today is to conquer the Badaling Shuiguan Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization and to the Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, the burial grounds for the 13 Ming Dynasty emperors. In the evening, you will enjoy a night tour to Changan Street.

Day 03 Beijing (B, L, D)

Today you will visit the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. Continue to visit the Underground City, also known as Dixia Cheng, does a bomb shelter comprise a network of tunnels located beneath Beijing, China, which has since been transformed into a tourist attraction.

Day 04 Beijing / Chengde (B, L, D)

Drive to Chengde in the morning by air-conditioned coach and visit the Chengde Summer Resort. It is the largest imperial garden and the second political center of the Qing Dynasty. Continue to visit the Imperial Temples Outside the walls of the Chengde Imperial Dwelling Palace. The last stop today is the Ruin Park of Yuan Dadu. Tonight you will stay at Chengde Qianyang Hotel.

Day 05 Chengde / Beijing (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will drive back to Beijing. Today you will visit the Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowager Ci Xi. In the afternoon, you will visit the Wangfujing Street and the Donghuamen Night Market.

Day 06 Beijing / Tianjin / Beijing (B, L, D)

Today you will have a chance to experience the real life of local Beijing residents on a tour to the Hutongs by rickshaw. Beijing Hutongs are regarded as the last embodiment of old Beijing's spirit. Walking along the back street of Hutongs and meeting people there will leave you a different understanding of China. Then drive to Tianjin and visit the Nanshi Food Street which is in a rich folk style and breathes an air of solemnity. Delicacies from all over the country are available here. Continue to visit the Tianjin Ancient Cultural Street. In the evening, drive back to Beijing and transfer to your hotel.

Day 07 Beijing (B, L)

In the morning, you will visit the Zhengyang Gate and then transfer to the airport for your flight back to your home. Service completes.
