Schedule Description:

Pick you up at your hotel in the morning and drive to Great Wall at Simatai Portion. This trekking is very changeling and you will need to cross bridge and hike up steps on a mountain range. During the trekking, you will be rewarded with some spectacular views of the Great Wall snaking away on the surrounding mountain range.

Lunch box is prepared for you due to the remote condition and limited local restaurants.

Continue the trek to the Jinshanling Portion. Relax and enjoy the breathtaking sunset in Jinshanling and then drive back to the city.

Simatai Great Wall -- located 120 km northeast of Beijing, holds the access to Gubeikou, a strategic pass in the eastern part of the Great Wall. This section of Great Wall is one of the few to retain the original features of the Ming dynasty Great Wall. Ingeniously conceived and uniquely designed, this section of Great Wall, inimitable and diversified, has incorporated the different characteristics of each section of the Great Wall.

Jinshanling Portion -- first built in the sixth century during the Northern and Southern Dynasties (420-589). Along it are 67 watchtowers, all in different styles, at average intervals of 150 meters.
