Private Forbidden City and Summer Palace TourPick you up your hotel in the morning. A full day excursion starts with the Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City. Tian An Men Square is the world's largest palace complex and covers 74 hectares. The Forbidden City was the home of the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties, a period extending over 500 years. After lunch at a carefully-selected local restaurant, you will continue to visit the Summer Palace, the best preserved and the second largest royal garden in China, with a history of over 800 years. In 1998, it was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Continue to visit the Fahai Temple, located on the Cuiwei Mountain. Fahai Temple's construction was completed in 1443. Emperor Zhu Qizhen inscribed the stele of the temple, which makes it famous among numerous temples in Beijing. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
