Built in 1961 and standing opposite the largest imperial palace garden in China (known as the Mountain Resort), the Mountain Villa Hotel has one of the finest central locations in Chengde. Built in the Russian style of courtyard with gardens, it is elegantly decorated and modernized for those who come to Chengde for holiday or business.

Location

Chengde Mountain Villa Hotel is located in the downtown area, very near restaurants, shops, markets, and the commercial center. Across the road from the hotel is the main entrance to the Mountain Resort (the imperial garden palace)

Rooms

There are 192 standard rooms and 146 double rooms which are three star standard. Included are ten well appointed suites and some common rooms.

There is also six restaurants with a total seating capacity of over one thousand persons. The five meeting rooms make an ideal location for conferences. In addition to the usual recreational facilities, the hotel boasts a large ballroom, shopping centre, business centre and money exchange office. The hotel does its best to provide a comfortable, safe and enjoyable stay.
