Location

Guilin Universal Hotel has a great location. It is just a few minutes walk to both Zhengyang and Zhongsan shopping street. It is a short ride to many tourist spots, for example Seven Star Park.

Rooms

The rooms are clean, plain, comfy and of good size, although showing their age a bit. If you can get a river-view room, you will find that Li River is very beautiful at night. The beds are usually little bit hard but still comfortable, and the cable TV offers several English channels. There is a mini refrigerator in each room that comes in handy in the summertime, and the air conditioning would crank really high - even on a sweltering hot day. The shower is large and has a clear door, and a hair dryer is offer in the bathroom. The heavy drapes makes for a nice naptime during the heat of the day.
