Re-branded as the first Renaissance hotel in Mainland China in 2001, the Marriott-managed 33-story Shanghai Renaissance Yangtze New World Hotel offers great services and facilities to both business travelers and leisure travelers. Renowned for dining and catering, the hotel features two bar-lounges with live music bands and five restaurants serving Mediterranean, Japanese and local Shanghainese cuisine. A superb international restaurant provides sumptuous buffets and all-day a la carte dining.

Location

This hotel's location is a bit out of the center of the city, but it's not bad at all. You may find that taxi rides to such places as the Bund and People's Square typically takes about 20-30 minutes under reasonably good traffic conditions. 10-minutes by car to Xujiahui and Everbright Convention Center, 25 minutes to International Convention Center & Pudong Lujiazui.
