Location: Metropole Hotel is 15 kilometers from the Hongqiao International Airport

Built by Mr. Saxon, Chairman of the Jewish Confederation, in 1930, the Shanghai Metropole Hotel topped the European style buildings with its Baroque hemi-round tower in Shanghai in early 20 century. The art deco exterior is quite unique and the lobby still maintains a little of the hotel’s former glory. The hotel offers some basic facilities and services so business travelers should hold their expectation at the reasonable level.
