Location

The hotel is located 12kms from the railway station and about 1.5-hours by car (via highway) from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. It is just 15 minutes by car from the downtown area, and the city's scenic attractions are just minutes away.

The Taihu Hotel has 260 rooms of different types including luxury, standard and suites, which are located in the main building atop the hill and in the garden villa. Room facilities include an in-room safe, hot drink mixing device, IDD, ports for PC and other electronic apparatus, color TV with satellite's channels, dryer, bath robe and with 24-hour room service.

Advanced equipment like a separate drinking water system and separate bathroom and bathroom TV are available in luxury standard rooms and upward.

With a 1,400 seat capacity, Taihu Hotel's large and extensive banqueting facilities can meet the needs of any guest. The restaurant serves Chinese breakfast, lunch and dinner featuring authentic Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine. It is complimented by seven other restaurants.
