The Xian Royal Garden Xian is a 4-star hotel and its lobby is decorated in traditional Chinese style with a few touches of westernized items. The hotel has a few banquet rooms of different sizes, restaurants and a bar. The business center is functioning in the lobby. On the other hand, the hotel itself fine but is due for a fresh coat of paint as everywhere was a bit dowdy.

Location
The Xian Royal Garden Xian is in an excellent location on the busy main street of Xian. It takes a few minutes walk to the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower and the Mosque and Islamic quarter. The best thing about the hotel is that you are also two blocks away from a brand new shopping, entertainment, eating complex called Xing Zheng Yuan Plaza, which has a Starbucks, Bread Talk pastry, Cantonese restaurant, and "international" food court.

Rooms
The hotel offers a good variety and large comfortable rooms. Rooms are well maintained, clean and tidy although the beds were a bit on the hard side as is the case with most beds in China. The rooms have all the necessary facilities, from hair dryer to cable TV.
