Moon Crescent Hill is formed by three southern peaks of Seven-Star Hill, named after the crescent-shaped cave halfway up the hill. The hill is located in the eastern part of Guilin. Its distinct shape of a crescent moon contains over 150 calligraphy carvings in the wall. Those that have been identified are brushed with some type of black paint on them to making reading easier.
