Zhongshan Mountain

Zhongshan Mountain, situated on the eastern outskirts of Nanjing, was originally called Jinling Mountain. The name Zhongshan Mountain has been renowned as one of the "Four famous mountains in areas south of the Yangtze River" since ancient times. Also named Purple Mountain due to its peak frequented by purple clouds.
