12 Days Scenic China Tour (Budget)

Day 01 Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport outside the luggage claim area with your name displayed and then transferred to the three-star Dongfang Hotel or similar.

Day 02 Beijing (B, L)

Morning program takes you to Tian’an Men Square and the Forbidden City, Morning program takes you to Tian’An Men Square and the Forbidden City, the residence of Chinese emperors for more than 500 years. Afternoon sightseeing features the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests and the Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowager Ci Xi.

Day 03 Beijing (B, L)

The highlight today is to conquer the Juyongguan Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization and to Changling, one of the Ming Tombs, the burial grounds for the 13 Ming Dynasty emperors. Drive back to city and go for some shopping at the famous Silk Markets.

Day 04 Beijing / Nanjing (B)

Free at your own arrangement. You may spend the day shopping or just walking around to get a better understanding of Beijing and its people. Or you can take some suggested activities from our ready-made option menu to enrich your stay in Beijing. In the evening, transfer to the railway station and board the soft-sleeper train to Nanjing.

Day 05  Nanjing (B,L)

Arrive in Nanjing in the morning. Meet your guide at the railway station and transfer to the three-star New Century Hotel or similar. After breakfast and refresh, you will take a full day sightseeing to Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yetsan who is the founder of Republican China, the Yangtze Bridge and the Confucius Temple.

Day 06 Nanjing / Wuxi (B, L)
Drive to Wuxi in the moring and visit the beautiful Yuantouzhu Park, where you can have a bird view of the famous Taihu Lake, continue to visit the Xihui Park. Tonight you will stay at four-star Jinlun Hotel or similar.

Day 07 Wuxi / Suzhou (B, L)

After breakfast, you will drive to Suzhou. Visit the Lingering Garden, Fishing Net Garden and Suzhou Silk Embroidery Factory. Check in the three-star Conference Center Hotel or similar.

Day 08 Suzhou / Hangzhou (B, L)

After breakfast drive to Hangzhou. Check into the three-star Lily Hotel or similar. Today you will visit the beautiful West Lake, Lingyin Temple and the Tea Plantation.

Day 09 Hangzhou / Shanghai (B, L)
In the morning drive back to Shanghai and check into the three-star Holiday Inn Express Hotel or similar.Take a city tour to the city's major attractions, including the Shanghai Museum, the Yu Garden at the Old Quarter, the famous waterfront Bund and Nanjing Road at the shopping center.

Day 10 Shanghai (B, L)

Today you will visit Shanghai Urban Planing Museum and the Pudong area. A local market will also be arranged for you to enjoy your shopping there.

Day 11 Shanghai (B)

Free day at your leisure. You may spend the day shopping or just walking around to get a better understanding of Shanghai. Or you can take some suggested activities from our ready-made option menu to enrich your stay in Shanghai.

Day 12 Shanghai (B)

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Service ends.
