Day 01 Beijing Arrival

Arrive in Beijing and meet your tour guide at Beijing Capital International Airport. Transfer to the hotel and rest.

Day 02 Beijing (B, L, D)

The highlight today is to conquer the Badaling Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization and to the Dingling, one of the Ming Tombs, the burial grounds for the 13 Ming Dynasty emperors. Drive back to city and go shopping at the famous Silk Market. Enjoy the famous Beijing Roast Duck as dinner and the fascinating Peking Opera in the evening.

Day 03 Beijing / Datong (B, L, D)

In the morning, start to explore the capital city by visiting Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, the residence of Chinese ancient emperors for more than 500 years. After lunch, drive to the Temple of Heaven where the ancient emperors prayed for good harvest. After dinner, take the overnight train to Datong.

Day 04 Datong (B, L, D)

Meet your guide at the railway station. Today tour the famous Yungang Grottoes, one of the Four Grottoes in China, the spectacular Huayan Monastery, the splendid Nine-Dragon Screen and Shanhua Monastery

Day 05 Datong / Pingyao (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to Pingyao. On the way to Pingyao, pay a visit to the featured Hanging Temple in Mt. Hengshan and Wooden Pagoda in Ying County.

Day 06 Pingyao (B, L, D)

Your whole day sightseeing in Pingyao Ancient Town covers the highlights of Rishengchang Draft Bank, Ancient City Wall and Ming and Qing Street.

Day 07 Pingyao / Taiyuan (B, L, D)

In the morning, visit the famous Qiao Family Mansion. On the way to Taiyuan, sightseeing the Jici Temple. Check into the hotel and rest.

Day 08 Taiyuan / Xian (B, L, D)

Take the flight from Taiyuan to Xian. Meet your tour guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, continue to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the evening, enjoy the fantastic Chinese Dumpling Banquet and Tang Dynasty Music& Dance Show.

Day 09 Xian (B, L, D)

Today’s highlight is a visit to the burial site of an incredible army of 8000 lifelike Terra-cotta soldiers, where you will have a face-to-face visit to those historic heroes. Return to the city and proceed to enjoy a leisure stroll on the top of the Ancient City Wall, the best preserved in the world, followed by a wander on the famous Shuyuanmen Culture Street to appreciate the delicate traditional art crafts.

Day 10 Xian / Luoyang (B, L, D)

Take the train from Xian to Luoyang. In the afternoon visit White Horse Temple, the first Buddhism Temple in China and check into the hotel.

Day 11 Luoyang (B, L, D)

In the morning, visit the Longmen Buddhism Grottoes, one of the famous four grottoes in China. Drive to the Shaolin Temple and enjoy the Kong Fu Show. Stay overnight in Luoyang.

Day 12 Luoyang / Shanghai (B, L, D)

Take the flight to Shanghai. Meet the guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 13 Shanghai (B, L, D)

Take a city tour to visit the city's major attractions and get a general understanding of this city. First you will visit the Shanghai Museum, one of the best in China, to learn the history of this city, then the Jade Buddha Temple. In the evening, enjoy the fantastic acrobatic show.

Day 14 Shanghai (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
