Day 1 Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, the financial and commercial center of China. You will be met by your guide and transferred to the four-star Shanghai Hotel.

Day 2 Shanghai (B, L)

Full day tour takes you to visit the major attractions including the Yu Garden at the Old Quarter. It was built by the Pan family in the Ming Dynasty. Now it has been restored and become one of the most popular tourist sights in Shanghai. Continue to visit Shanghai Museum, the first museum in China that meets international exhibition standard. It is in the possession of a collection of 123,000 cultural artifacts in 21 categories, mainly the exhibitions of painting, bronze, sculpture, ceramics, calligraphy, jade, Ming & Qing Dynasty furniture, coins, seals, and ethnic artwork. The bronze collection is said to be the best in world.

After a lunch at local Shanghai Cuisine restaurant, you will visit the famous waterfront Bund, the historical street comparable to a Chinese Wall Street where tourists can get a taste of the Shanghai high-life. The rest of the day is free for you to shop at Nanjing Road.

Day 3 Shanghai / Nanjing (B, L)

Drive to Nanjing, the capital city of Jiangsu. Check in the Nanjing Ramada Hotel. After refresh at hotel, you will visit the Dr. Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. The mausoleum was erected in 1929 in honor of Dr. Sun Yatsen, the forerunner of the Chinese Democratic Revolution in 1911. After lunch, you will continue to visit the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, the second bridge ever to span the Yangtze River. Throughout the world, it is also the longest bridge with rails and highways. Before go back to your hotel, you will visit the Confucius Temple & Qinhuai River area. Having been a famous trade center since ancient times, the Qinhuai River Area grew into its prominence in the Ming & Qing dynasties. It remains the city's busiest shopping and entertainment center. Many shops, restaurants and inns are buildings in classic Ming and Qing style architecture.

Day 4 Nanjing / Wuxi (B, L)

After breakfast, you will drive to Wuxi and check in the four-star Jinlun Hotel. After lunch break, you will visit the Turtle Head Island, which occupies the most beautiful place of Lake Taihu. Continue to visit the Xihui Park, named after two hills here-Xi Hill and Hui Hill. The Xihui Park is the largest comprehensive public park in Wuxi area.

Day 5 Wuxi / Suzhou / Hangzhou (B, L)

In the morning, you will drive to Suzhou, known as the "Venice of the East" today. Visit the Lingering Garden, praised as one of the nation's four famous gardens. Continue to visit the Garden of the Master of Nets, one of the smallest (at little more than one acre) yet considered one of the best designed and most elegant of the private gardens still extant. The last stop of today is Suzhou Silk Museum. The exhibits in Suzhou Silk Museum reflect the long silk history and the art of silk industry in China. Drive back to Hangzhou in the later afternoon and check in the four-star Ramada Plaza Hotel.

Day 6 Hangzhou / Shanghai (B, L)

After breakfast, drive to the West Lake and take a cruise tour to enjoy the magnificent view of the beautiful lake. Then you will visit the Lingyin Temple (Soul's Retreat Temple), It is the most influential temple in South China, and is regarded as one of the 10 famous Buddhist temples in China. Today you will also have a chance to visit a tea plantation near the city to see how the Chinese tea is made. Late in the afternoon, you will drive back to Shanghai and check in your hotel.

Day 7 Shanghai (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight to the next destination.
