8 Days Sichuan Kham Area Tour

Day 01 Arrival at Chengdu

Arrive in Chengdu, meet your local guide at the airport and transfer to three star Xiyu Business Hotel. The rest of the day will be free for you to have a good rest before starting the adventure.

Day 02 Chengdu / Hailuogou (B, L, D)

Your Kham area adventure will starts this morning. Drive to Hailuogou though the Chengdu - Ya'an expressway and Mt. Erlang tunnel; Along your way, enjoy the beautiful scenery of Dadu River. In the afternoon, arrive at Moxi town and check in the local three star Yinshan Hotel. After a short rest, you will take a local sightseeing bus to No.3 Camp for visiting.

Day 03 Hailuogou Glacier / Kangding (B, L, D)

Get up early in the morning and see the sunrise on Gongga Mountain at the hotel view platform. Then have a leisure breakfast and head for Hailuogou Glacier Park. You can either take a cable car to No.4 Camp or have a walk (about 2 hours walking) through the forest to the view platform. Enjoy the splendid sights of glaciers, ice mushrooms, ice pagoda forest, ice waterfalls and etc. In the late afternoon you will drive to Kangding. Tonight you will stay at local three-star Kangding Geser Hotel. Enjoy a hotspring tonight at Kangding.

Day 04 Kangding / Tagong Grassland / danba (B, L, D)

Today you will visit the Anjue Monastery. If you get up early and are lucky enough, you may see their morning ceremony. After that, drive to Tagong Grassland via Xinduqiao and visit Tagong Monastery. In the afternoon, you will drive to Danba and visit the view Yala Holy Mountain and Donggu Nature Reserve. Tonight you will stay at local three-star Meirengu Hotel.

Day 05 Danba (B, L, D)

A full day sightseeing activities in Danba, including the beauty valley with its pretty Jiarong branch Tibetan women. In the late afternoon, you will drive to Rilong town and check in the local three-star Jinkun Hotel.

Day 06 Sightseeing of Mt. Siguniang (B, L, D)

Today you will take a trekking or horse-riding to explore the Siguniang Mountain, which is called the East Alps.

Day 07 Rilong / Bifengxia / Chengdu (B, L, D)

After breakfast, you will drive back to Chengdu. On your way, you will visit the Bifengxia Panda Reserve to see the lovely pandas there. Then continue drive back to Chengdu and check in the Xiyu Business Hotel.

Day 08 Chengdu departure (B)

Today you will transfer to the airport and board your homeward flight. Service completes.
