Deposit & Final Payment

A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is required to reserve space for you once you have made the reservation. The reservation deposit charge per person is included in our tour quotations. We will deduct the reservation deposit charge from the total quotation when you pay off the balance amount. The final payment is due 50 days prior to departure dates.

The receipt of your deposit and/or final payment will indicate that you and your travel agent (when applicable) have read the Terms and Conditions of China Connection Tours.com, and that you (and your agent) have accepted them.

Price Guarantee

All tour prices are based on rates (including foreign exchange rates) known at the time of showing at the website and expected to be in effect at the time of departure. The current price will be confirmed at the time of reservation. However, once China Connection Tours has received you deposit for any tour, the land price is guaranteed, and any subsequent land cost increases are at our expense, not including surcharges and any government tax increases. Airfares included as part of air-inclusive tour prices are guaranteed when we receive full payment. Tour prices are Per Person, based on double occupancy. Single room supplements and triple room reductions are listed where applicable.

Method of Cash Discount Rate Payment

To take advantage of our cash discount rate, simply send us personal check, bank check, money order and electronic bank wire in the cash discount amount as indicated in our price list to our company by payment due date. Check or money order should be made payable to "China Connection Tours". Passengers joining our tours from outside the U.S. must make payment by electronic bank wire, bank check or international money order in U.S. currency.

Method of Credit Card Payment

We accept all the major credit cards such as Master Card, Visa, American Express and Discover, etc. Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. If you wish to pay your tour fares by credit card, please download and complete the enclosed credit card authorization form, sign and return it to us by fax or postal mail. This form authorizes us to charge the regular tour fare as indicated in our price list by payment due date. The clients will also be required to provide a CLEAR copy of their credit card (for both front and back side), and a copy of passport for each travel participant. The documents should be emailed as a scanned attachment to info@chinaconnection.com or faxed to 0086 29 8526 2670.

Tour Fares for Children

Child under 12 years of age who shares room with 2 parents with existing beds pays 80% of regular adult rate. Children 12 years and older will be charged adult rate.

Cancellations and Cancellation Fee

If cancellation is received by China Connection Tours more than 40 days prior to commencement of services, you will not be charged except the non-refundable deposit of $200 per person.

If the customer cancels the trip, China Connection Tours must be notified by Email or fax. We calculate your refund on the day we receive the written cancellation. All refunds to the client will be processed within 30 days of receipt of your cancellation.

The following cancellation fees apply to reservations:
40-26 days prior to commencement of services:
20% of total price

25-16 days prior to commencement of services:
30% of total price

15-10 days prior to commencement of services:
50% of total price

Within 10 days prior to commencement of services:
100% of total price

Cancellation charges also apply to additional services, including accommodations and optional excursions, reserved prior to and after the tour.

If flight changes, including flight cancellations, are requested, revision fees or airline cancellation charges will apply. If an air-inclusive tour is cancelled after air tickets have been issued, refund will be processed and the air tickets are returned to China Connection Tours.

China visa handling fee is not refundable and is in addition to the above penalty if the visa is processed.

Group Size

China Connection Tours reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour departure. Our tour membership is limited to 10-20 passengers. A minimum 10 travelers is required to guarantee a group departure. In case we have to cancel a departure due to low participation, clients will have the options to either reschedule the trip or receive a complete refund of all payments they have made to us.

Visas and Passports

For tours requiring visas for Non-Chinese citizens, detailed visa information will be found at our website.

Visas Application Procedure

Visas are readily available from China Consulates in U.S.A. Please be advised that as of May 1, 2003, Chinese Consulates will not accept visa application via postal mail. This is due to increased security measures. If you choose to handle the visa application on yourself, you must physically present your application and documents to the PRC Consulate, or, entrust someone to handle the application on your behalf. It takes four (4) to seven (7) business days for the consulate to process a visa application; Rush fee applies if you require an express service.


Free airline baggage allowance for the international flight is 2 pieces per person with combined maximum linear dimensions of 107", for the domestic flight within China is 1 bag with no more than 44 Pounds (20KG). We recommend for efficient travel that each passenger travel with only one suitcase and one carry-on bag. Excessive number, size, or weight of luggage may result in your inconvenience and/or surcharge

No responsibility is accepted for loss of or damage to baggage or any of the tour participant's belongings. Baggage Insurance is recommended.


We strongly suggest you purchase travel insurance, including trip cancellation, trip interruption, accident, health and baggage. This is for your own protection.

China Connection Tours provides comprehensive Consumer Protection Plan to safeguard and ensure your peace of mind based on the rules and regulations of China National Tourism Administration.


Please be aware that during your participation in tours operated by China Connection Tours, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control including, but not limited to, the hazards of travelling in undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, aircraft or other means of transportation; the forces of nature, political unrest and accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities. China Connection Tours will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. It is understood that China Connection Tours will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures are taken.

Travel Documents

Final documents including air tickets, hotel lists, final tour itinerary, clothing suggestions, reading list, luggage tags and other pertinent information will be mailed to you approximately two weeks prior to departure.


China Connection Tours is responsible to you in making arrangements for the tour services offered its website, including transportation, sightseeing, and accommodations.

The carriers, accommodations, and other suppliers providing tour services are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, or servants of, or joint ventures with China Connection Tours or its affiliates. All certificates and other travel documents for tour services issued by China Connection Tours are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the supplier and to the laws of the countries in which the services are supplied.

If, after tour departure, the services included in the tour cannot be supplied, or there are changes in an itinerary for reasons beyond the control of China Connection Tours, we will arrange for the provision of comparable services. Any resulting additional expense will be payable by travellers and any resulting saving will be refunded by China Connection Tours to tour participants.

China Connection Tours reserves the right to accept or reject any person as a tour participant, to expel any tour participant from the tour, to make changes in the itinerary whenever China Connection Tours deems it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of the tour participants, and to cancel a tour at any time.

The tour participant agrees that neither China Connection Tours nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including personal injury, death, and property loss) or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier providing tour services, or any insurer or insurance administrator of the Travel Protection Plan, or of any other person.

Legal proceedings against China Connection Tours may be instituted only in a court within the Peoples Republic of China, and any claim involved in such proceedings shall be decided in accordance with the laws of the Peoples Republic of China. Any legal proceedings against China Connection Tours must be commenced within 180 days following the date of tour completion. Neither China Connection Tours nor any affiliate shall in any case be liable for other than compensatory damages, and you hereby waive any right to punitive damages.

No person, other than an authorized representative of China Connection Tours by a document in writing, is authorized to vary, add, or waive any term or condition in this website, including any term or condition set forth in the preceding provisions.
