Day 01 Zhongdian (L)

Pick up at your hotel and start today's sightseeing program to Shigu Village, at the First Bend of the Yangtze River; visit the tremendous Tiger Leaping Gorge, then drive back to Zhongdian and explores the ancient town on your own. Check in the four-star Holy Palace Hotel Lunch will be arranged in a selected local restaurant.

Day 02 Zhongdian (B, L)

Explore Zhongdian and the surrounding Tibetan cultural areas, including the large Songzanlin Monastery and the alpine Bita Lake. You will also visit a local Tibetan family on the way. Lunch will be arranged in a selected local restaurant.

Day 03 Zhongdian / Dechen (B, L)

Today you will drive to Dechen, on an ancient caravan route to Tibet through the Yangtze Gorges, stopping at Dhondrupling Gompa en route. Destroyed during the Cultural Revolution but nowadays almost restored with the help of the 300 residing monks. The monastery is situated on a large rocky piece at the backdrop of a massive mountain range. Continue to visit the Baima Nature Preserve, one of the most important biodiversity spheres of the Three Parallel Rivers region. Stay at the local best Rainbow Hotel.

Day 04 Dechen / Zhongdian (B, L)

After breakfast, visit the Feilai Temple, located some 10km west of Dechen on the road to Tibet, the temple faces Meli Snow Mountain and was built in 1614 during the Ming dynasty. The main architectural attractions are some interesting wooden carvings of people, flowers, and other designs. Today you will also have a chance to visit the Dongqiaotou Village to see how local people make the wooden bowls. In the late afternoon, drive back to Zhongdian and check in the four-star Holy Palace Hotel

Day 05 Zhongdian (B)

Enjoy your free time until transfer to the airport and fly to next destination.
