Itinerary:

Day 1 Chengdu / Rilong

Travel to Rilong, the gateway town to explore Siguniang Mountain, the Oriental Alps. En route, stop at Yunzhong Pasture with the altitude between 2,000 and 3,000 meters above the sea level. It is home to many rare wild animals. Its beauty is magnificent. Enjoy a preparatory hike on this picturesque alpine meadow and get accustomed to its weather and altitude for next day's hiking. Up arrival, check into the hotel.

Day 2 Rilong (B)

After breakfast start your hiking along Changping Valley, stop at Lamasery and finish at Muluozi. On this classic hiking trail, you will enjoy stunning views of the main peak of Siguniang Mountain. Trekking through a dense primeval forest. Towering spruce and fir trees stand tall, with sunlight shining onto moss-covered paths, babbling stream running through creeks. Gradual ascending leads you to Muzi Meadow, where yaks graze leisurely on this expansive alpine meadow, afar snow peaks rise abruptly. The view is incredibly majestic awe-inspiring.

Day 3 Rilong (B)

In the morning, travel to Red Larch Forest where you start your hiking in Shuangqiao Valley. It is famous for snow-capped peaks, ancient glaciers, pristine lakes, vast meadows and dense forests. Along the way, you can see Chinese redwood trees against snow-capped rock walls towering high, the massive, majestic granite peak with the like the Potala Palace in Lhasa, beautiful alpine Four Sisters Lake and Pearl Lake known for their turquois-blue water. The end of the trekking is at Ginseng Fruit Meadow that is dotted with grazing yaks, rustic log cabins, and a meandering stream.

Day 4 Rilong (B)

After breakfast, travel to Chaoping by coach and start your hiking in Haizi Valley from there. The valley is the most primitive in Siguniang Mountain. It derives its names from many "alpine lakes" nestled high in the mountains, which is well-known for crystal-clear water. Chaoping, the starting point of the hiking offers a magnificent panoramic view of the four main peaks of Siguniang Mountain. Along the way, you will stop at the Big Lake. It is a breathtaking turquoise lake set in a dramatic stone basin, offering reflections of the surrounding peaks. Then continue your hike to the Flower Lake. In the summer time, beautiful wildflowers blanket the shores of the lake in a vast valley surrounded by mountains.

Day 5 Rilong / Chengdu (B)

Transfer back to Chengdu and the service ends.
