Lushan and Jingdezhen Tour

Day 01 Jingdezhen

Today you will have a whole day visiting Jingdezhen. This town crouches on the south of the Yangtze River as a "Powerful Town on the South of the Yangtze River. First, visit Jingdezhen Porcelain Museum, Inside the museum are a compound of ancient kiln buildings and a compound of dwelling houses of the Qing Dynasty. Then proceed to Imperial Kiln Heritage Park and visit Imperial Kiln Museum, a red-brick vaulted architecture showcasing Ming & Qing royal porcelain. Get to the top floor of Longzhu Pavilion and have a panoramic view of the park. At noon, visit Taoyangli Ceramic Culture Zone where you can explore ancient alleys with Ming-Qing architectures, visit some ceramic studios and exhibitions. In the afternoon visit Sanbao Village, Jingdezhen's hidden artistic oasis. Nestled in the untouched natural valley, the streams flow through the village where ancient houses and contemporary art spaces exists harmoniously. Visit the 600-year-old Hutian Kiln At night, visit Taoxichuan Ceramic Art Avenue, a cultural landmark transformed from historic kiln factories, featuring a vibrant weekend night market. Enjoy a leisurely time there. Have coffee, enjoy the exquisite works at galleries and do some shopping from boutiques stores.

Day 02 Jingdezhen / Lushan

Drive to Lushan by coach. Upon arrival, check into the hotel on summit. Lushan is a well-known scenic area, summer resort and sanitaria. You are bound to be impressed by the beautiful scenery there. You will visit Flower Path and stroll through the garden where flowers bloom seasonally. Then visit Jingxiu Valley and walk along cliffside plank-ways for breathtaking vistas of mist-shrouded ravines and jagged rock formations. Finally arrive at Immortal Cave. Discover the Taoist grotto where legend says Lu Dongbin achieved enlightenment.

Day 3 Lushan

Today you will visit Hanpo Pass, Lushan's most famous viewpoint for watching the sun rise over the vast Poyang Laket. Next visit Meilu Villa, the summer residence of Madame Chiang Kai-shek. This stone-and-wood European-style villa, preserves original Art Deco furnishings and the couple's personal artifacts. Then visit Three Cascade Waterfalls. Its three tiers resembling a silver dragon crashing through jade pools. In the afternoon, visit the White Deer Cave Academy. Walk through arched stone gateways where philosopher Zhu Xi, the founder of the academy once lectured. It has a history of 1,200 years and enjoys a very high reputation among Chinese intellectuals. Descend the mountain by car and transfer to the train station. The service completes.
