This Silk Road tour begins with a tour of the major tourist sites in Xian, including the Terra-cotta Warriors Museum. Then take high speed train to Lanzhou and begin your tour of the ancient trading route through the Hexi Corridor. Explore the legendary cities such as Lanzhou, Wuwei, Zhangye, Jiayuguan and Dunhuang, visit religious sites and museums, cultural monuments and natural wonders.

Day 01 Xian
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the local guide and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02 Xian (B)
After breakfast travel to Lintong, the place where The Terracotta Army and the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor was discovered. The Terracotta Warriors are the most significant archeological excavations of the 20th century. There are more than 8,000 life-size Terra-cotta soldiers and horses excavated from this area which all displayed in the practical battle formation in 3 pits respectively. In afternoon, visit the Muslim quarter. You will visit the mosque at Daxuexixiang. After that, enjoy your shopping time at the Muslim Street which is lined with shops selling souvenirs and local snacks. In the late afternoon, travel back to your hotel.

Day 03 Xian / Lanzhou (B)
In the morning travel to Lanzhou by high-speed train. Lanzhou located on the banks of the Yellow River is famous for its well know “Beef Noodle Soop” in China. Meet and visit Gansu Provincial Museum, one of the best places to enrich your knowledge of Silk Road. The exhibitions of Silk Road, painted potter of Paleolithic age, Buddhist arts are the best collections of their kinds in China.
Day 04 Lanzhou / Wuwei (B)
Travel to Wuwei by high-speed train. Wuwei also known as "Liangzhou” in ancient time, plays a significant role for cultural, religious and economical exchanges along Silk Road. Upon arrival, visit Confucius Temple, with symmetrical, structures and carved beams, pines planted in the courtyard. Strongly demonstrating Chinese culture influence into the frontier, it serves as a local Confucius learning school and a temple to enshrine Confucius. Then visit Leitai Han Dynasty Tomb where Galloping Horse, the symbol of Chinese tourism is excavated.
Day 05 Wuwei / Zhangye (B)
After breakfast travel to Zhangye by highspeed train. Zhangye known as Ganzhou, is one of the earliest four outposts established by Emperor Wudi in Han Dynasty after he defeated the Huns and extended Chinese territory border into the west. Visit the Rainbow Mountain, the Zhangye National Park. The mountainous landscapes are beautiful. It is created by the mother nature. Hundreds of thousands of years, with the efforts of winds and rains, the mountains were carved into different shapes, were dyed with rainbow-like colors due to minerals rich in soils. It is considered as the most colorful national park in the world. Conclude the day with the visit to Giant Buddha Temple, housing one of the largest sleeping Buddha built by Xixia people, one of the minorities living the Mongol time.
Day 06 Zhangye / Jiayuguan (B)
Travel to Jiayuguan by high-speed train. Meet and visit, Jiayuguan. The farthest west-end of the Great Wall of China built in the 14th century. Then take a tour to the Weijin Tombs, where best preserved brick paintings in the tombs providing you an vivid idea of the lives of local people and customs almost 1800 years ago.

Day 07 Jiayuguan / Dunhuang (B)
By high-speed train, travel to Dunhuang, a strategic post on the Silk Road and frontier town of the ancient. A leisurely day includes visits to Minsha Hill and Crescent Moon Lake.
Day 8 Dunhuang / Lanzhou (B)
You will visit the most famous monument of Dunhuang-the Mogao Caves, popularly known as "Thousand Buddha Caves". An art gallery in the desert, the walls of the caves are lined with Buddhist frescoes and sculpted figures, is said to be the finest examples of Buddhist art in the world. Mixing Indian and Chinese styles, they are a remarkable record of Silk Road civilization. Take overnight train to Lanzhou.

Day 9 Lanzhou / Xian (B)
Upon arrival transfer to a hotel for breakfast. Then visit Yellow River Bridge and watermills along the Yellow River. In the afternoon, board the highspeed train to Xian. Meet and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10 Xian (B)
Transfer to the airport for you flight to the next destination. The whole tour ends with a memorable experience.
