Arrive in Xiamen, coastal city in southeastern China and looking out to the Taiwan Strait. You will be greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to Longyan. Check into the hotel.
Day 02 Longyan / Yongding
Drive to Yongding and visit Yongding Tulou. Tulou is listed UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. Constructed the rural areas for the defense purpose in middle age, they are the exceptional examples of a building tradition and function exemplifying a particular type of communal living and defensive organization, and in terms of their harmonious relationship with their environment, an outstanding example of human settlement. In the afternoon, you will get to Chuxi which is famous for its Tulou Cluster (groups of Tulou). You are bound to be impressed by the wonder of Tulou. After a day of sight-seeing, you will check into the hotel
Day 03 Yongding / Nanjing / Xiamen
Drive to Chengqi Lou named as the 'King of Tulou'. As one of the most iconic tulou (earthen buildings) in China, it was built during the Ming Dynasty (1628-1644) and took three generations to complete. As the largest and most well-preserved circular tulou, it was inscribed as part of the "Fujian Tulou" UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2008. In the afternoon, visit Tian Luokeng Tulou Cluster, a masterpiece where nature and culture blend perfectly—a must-see landmark of Fujian Tulou. Then you will visit Yuchang Lou which has a long history of 600 years. It offers you an opportunity to experience Hakka culture and architecture in a less crowded setting than some more famous tulou. Then, you will go back to Xiamen and check into the hotel.
Day 04 Xiamen
In the morning, visit Gulang Yu Island. Known for its unique natural scenery, historic architecture, and rich cultural heritage, Gulangyu is often called the "Garden on the Sea" and the "Island of Pianos." It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2017. Explore the island natural beauty and history on foot.
