Day 1 Zhangjiajie
Arrive in Zhangjiajie and meet your tour guide at Zhangjiajie Lotus Airport. Transfer to the hotel in Wulingyuan district and rest.
Day 2 Zhangjiajie / Fenghuang
Drive to Fenghuang. On the way, visit the Furong Ancient Town, which is an ancient town of Tujia minority with a history of more than 2000 years. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and fresh up. As night falls, the bright moon hangs high in the sky and the city lights cast a warm glow over the entire town. Enjoy night walk along Tuojiang River and feel the vibrant pulse of life flowing through the town.
Day 3 Fenghuang / Zhangjiajie
Arise late and walk on the stone-paved streets of the town. Visit stilted wooden houses by the river, historical buildings as ancestral halls, residences of celebrities in old China, guild halls for commerce. The tour to this idyllic ancient town makes travelers feel they were in a secluded paradise nestled in the far-reaching area of China. In the afternoon, travel back to Zhangjiajie.
Day 4 Zhangjiajie
Spend the day to explore the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park which is famous for its queer rocks. There are over thousands of peaks are in various forms. You will ascend to Yuanjiajie scenic area by Bailong Elevator, for sightseeing of Back Garden, Mihun Stage, the First Bridge in the world and Hallelujah Mountains. Then take a shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain for sightseeing of Helong Park, Fairy Maiden Present Flowers etc. Descend the mountain by cable car and go back to hotel. Stay overnight in Wulingyuan.
Day 5 Zhangjiajie
In the morning drive back to Zhangjiajie and take the longest cable to ascend Tianmen Mountain. Its name originates a natural hole cutting through the mountain, symbolizing a gateway to the heavens. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, with attractions like the Tianmen Cave, the Guigu wooden walkways and the glass skywalk. In the evening, transfer to Zhangjiajie airport and service ends.

We have done an excellent couple private tour with china connection tours throughout Beijing-Xian-Chengdu-Fenghuang-Zanghjiajie-Shanghai. The tour was very well organized, good price, very good hotels. The time was well balanced, no time was lost. Guides was very expert and available to every our request and they proposed us to add some other activities over the program, this was very much appreciated. They also suggested us good restaurants.
