Hi Jason,

Just some quick feedback, as I will do a more in depth version on the blog. 

We thoroughly enjoyed the trip, although it was very cold in Beijing (but we always knew you couldn't control the weather!).

The hotels were all fine, although we struggled with the fact that each one just seemed to stink of smoke, even when you’re in a non smoking room. The decor was all very bland, but I guess that's just the norm for Chinese hotels.

The guides were all very good, special mention for Tiger in YiChang who helped Mark find a notebook computer for me for a Christmas Present, Joy in Guilin was another favorite and Aggie in Beijing who was always smiling, even at 6am when she met us off the train!
