Pick up at your Guangzhou hotel lobby and visit the Chen Clan Academy. The Chen Clan Academy was built in 1890 by the people surnamed Chen in the 72 counties of Guangdong to worship ancestors. The antique style of the academy and the numerous artistic treasures it holds will make you feel that you have gone back to the Qing Dynasty. It is not only an important heritage site, but also a local Guangdong handicraft museum. Continue to visit the Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall, a landmark of Guangzhou. It is an octagonal palatial structure facing the south and occupying 60,000 sq. ft. At present, the memorial hall is not only a large-scale theatre with modern acoustics; it is also a landmark of Guangzhou, attracting millions of visitors annually. After lunch, you will go to visit the Nanyue King's Tomb Museum in Tang Dynasty. As the witness of Guangzhou’s history of over 2,000 years, it is well known for its well-preserved tomb and funerary antiquity from the Han Dynasty, as well as elegant and grand architecture from the Canton area. At end, transfer back to the hotel or the airport/ train station.
