Pick up at the hotel lobby and travel to Tianshui. Upon arrival, visit Maiji Mountain Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As one of China's "Four Great Buddhist Grottoes". It boasts over 7,200 Buddhist statues and 1,300 square meters of murals mainly from the Northern Wei (386–534) and Western Wei (535–556). Carved into the sheer cliff face of Maiji Mountain these Buddhism grottoes are renowned for their exquisite clay sculptures and unique integration with the natural landscape. Walk along the cliff-hanging plank roads to admire the oriental beauty. Proceed to Fuxi Temple, China’s first ancestral temple dedicated to Fuxi, the mythical creator of the I Ching. Grand ceremonies are held annually on May 13th. Then visit Tianshui Ancient City, and local residences famous for its delicate architecture and brick carvings. After the visit, travel back to Lanzhou and service completes.
