Museum of Cliff Graves

The Museum of Cliff Graves of Leshan City is situated at the Mahao Cliff Graves on the northern bank of the Mahao River on the ranges of Leshan City of Sichuan Province. It is a museum of the former site of Chinese ancient graves.

The museum is a treasure house holding more than 2,200 unearthed artifacts, of which the pottery dancing figurine (86.5 cm high), the pottery horse (111 cm high) and the pottery houses stands as the most representative ones.

The museum is composed of two exhibition rooms and one stone-plate pavilion with paintings. Five cliff graves have been restored. The paintings there feature a strong flavor of the Han
