4 Days Shanghai and Suzhou Tour

Day 1 Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, the financial and commercial center of China. You will be met by your guide and transferred to your hotel

Day 2 Shanghai

In the morning travel to Yu Garden, the best preserved ancient Chinese garden. There are many small-commodities like handicrafts and clothes, and you can explore the sale market around all by yourself and enjoy the fun of shopping. Then travel to the Bund, appreciating the splendid Bund western buildings and the Lujiazui skylines on the other side of the Huangpu River. Then spend some time on the No. 1 shopping street in the country-East Nanjing Road. At the end of the tour, indulge yourself in Xintiandi, a trendy and artistic place with old Shanghai Sikumen architectures, boutiques, bars and restaurants 

Day 3 Shanghai / Suzhou / Shanghai

Travel to Suzhou. Upon arrival, visit the Suzhou Museum. It was designed by world famous architect I.M.Pei and the construction was completed in October 2006. The museum is packed with jade, porcelain and bronze. There are also exhibits featuring calligraphy, Buddhist relics, antique furniture and more. After the museum tour, you will walk a few minutes to the Humble Administrator’s Garden. This garden is the largest and most renowned one among gardens in Suzhou. It is listed as a World Cultural Heritage site and has also been designated as one of the Cultural Relics of National Importance under the Protection of the State as well as a Special Tourist Attraction of China. Then visit Pingjiang Road and enjoy a walking tour along this historical street. With a river flowing along it, bridges across the river, houses with white walls and black roofs built along the stone road, locals especially the old walking leisurely, the scene here shows a traditional Suzhou local life. Travel back to Shanghai

Day 4 Shanghai

Transfer to the airport/railway station for your departure to the next destination.
