Day 1 Zhangjiajie
Arrive in Zhangjiajie and meet your tour guide at Zhangjiajie Lotus Airport. Transfer to the hotel in Wulingyuan district and rest.
Day 2 Zhangjiajie
Spend the day to explore the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park which is famous for its queer rocks. There are over thousands of peaks are in various forms. You will ascend to Yuanjiajie scenic area by Bailong Elevator, for sightseeing of Back Garden, Mihun Stage, the First Bridge in the world and Hallelujah Mountains. Then take a shuttle bus to Tianzi Mountain for sightseeing of Helong Park, Fairy Maiden Present Flowers etc. Descend the mountain by cable car and go back to hotel. Stay overnight in Wulingyuan.
Day 3 Zhangjiajie
In the morning travel to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon that features waterfalls, mountains, streams, cliffs and caves. You will experience an adventurous walk on the longest glass and highest bridge in the world. In the afternoon, visit the Baofeng Lake by boat for sightseeing of natural views around it.
Day 4 Zhangjiajie / Fenghuang
In the morning drive back to Zhangjiajie and take the longest cable to ascend Tianmen Mountain. Its name originates a natural hole cutting through the mountain, symbolizing a gateway to the heavens. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful mountains in the world, with attractions like the Tianmen Cave, the Guigu wooden walkways and the glass skywalk. In the afternoon, travel to Fenghuang. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and fresh up. As night falls, the bright moon hangs high in the sky and the city lights cast a warm glow over the entire town. Enjoy night walk along Tuojiang River and feel the vibrant pulse of life flowing through the town.
Day 5 Fenghuang / Changsha
Arise late and walk on the stone-paved streets of the town. Visit stilted wooden houses by the river, historical buildings as ancestral halls, residences of celebrities in old China, guild halls for commerce. The tour to this idyllic ancient town makes travelers feel they were in a secluded paradise nestled in the far-reaching area of China. In the afternoon, take the high-speed train to Changsha
Day 6 Changsha
In the morning, visit Aiwan Pavilion. The original name of Aiwan Pavilion was Hongye Pavilion and the present name is derived from the poem Strolling in the Mountain written by Du Mu (a poet of Tang Dynasty). Next is Yuelu Academy, later known as the Hunan University. It is one of the four most prestigious academies over the last 1000 years in China. In history many famous people were the graduated students from it. In the afternoon, visit Hunan Provincial Museum which is well known as Mawangdui. From 1972 to early 1974, Chinese archaeological workers excavated three tombs of the Western Han Dynasty at Mawangdui and achieved tremendous results which attracted attention at home and abroad.
Day 7 Changsha
Transfer to the airport or the train station. The service ends.
