Classic Suzhou Tour

Day 1 Suzhou

Pick up at your hotel lobby and start your garden tour today. You will first drive to Lingering Garden, praised as one of the nation's four famous gardens. Then visit Master of Fishing Net Garden, the finest gardens in China. Recognized with nine other Suzhou gardens as United Nations World Heritage sites, it demonstrates Chinese garden designers’ adept skills for synthesizing art, nature, and architecture to create unique metaphysical masterpieces. While the initial garden was first constructed over 800 years ago and its physical form has changed drastically since, the name and spirit of the garden remain intact. At end, visit Guanqian Street, a 1,500-year-old pedestrian street with Ming-Qing architectures. Stroll along the street, enjoy shopping and Suzhou style snacks. Transfer back to the hotel and service completes.

Day 2 Suzhou

In the morning you will visit the I. M. Pei and New Suzhou Museum. Founded in 1960 and originally located in the national historic landmark, Suzhou Museum has been a highly-regarded regional museum with a number of significant Chinese cultural relics. A new museum designed by world famous architect I.M.Pei was completed in October 2006. Continue to visit the Suzhou Silk Museum, which reflect the long silk history and the art of silk industry in China.
