Beijing Aquarium

"The world's largest inland aquarium" equipped with the most advanced modern facilities opened in 1999, the new aquarium located on the north bank of Chang River of the Beijing Zoo, is a state-of-the-art facility. It covers 35,000 square meters of land area with 42,000 square meters of floor space. Beijing Aquarium features themed exhibits of fresh- and saltwater aquatic life, a rain forest with pools of fish, a shark tank, and a dolphin and sea lion show.
