Changchun Transportation

Air

Changchun Airport is located in the western suburbs, 11 km away from the city center. Regular flights are available to and from most major Chinese cities. There are also international links with Seoul and Vladivostok. Bus #364 connects the airport with the People's Square; a taxi to the airport costs Y20-30.

Train

Located in the northern part of People's Street, Changchun Railway Station was rebuilt on its former site in 1992, with a total construction area of 47,867 square meters. It handles 22 pairs of through trains and 29 pairs originating or ending their journey in Changchun each day. These provide links with major cities throughout the country.

Taxi

There are 12,000 taxis in Changchun, all metered. Fares vary depending on the size of the vehicle. Generally most taxis charge a base fee of Y5 for 2.5 kilometers, with Y1 for each additional kilometer.
