Schedule Description:

Pick up at your hotel lobby and transfer to visit the Imperial Temples outside the walls of the Chengde Imperial Dwelling Palace. Spend half day exploring the temples and then transfer back to your hotel in the afternoon. Lunch is arranged in a local restaurant.

Imperial Temples - Built on a larger scale than any of the temples of Beijing, they are collectively known as the Eight Temples beyond the Great Wall (Waibamiao). In fact, there were originally 11 temples, of which only seven now remain. Those temples are the fine combination of the Cultures of Manchu, Tibet and Han nationalities. At the end of 1994, it was listed as the world heritage by UNESCO.
