Day 1 Chengde (L)

Arrive in Chengde railway station, meet your guide and transfer to the four-star Yunshan Hotel . After lunch at nice local restaurant, you will visit the Imperial Temples Outside the walls of the Chengde Imperial Dwelling Palace. Enjoy your rest of the day explore the temples around there.

Imperial Temples - Built on a larger scale than any of the temples of Beijing, they are collectively known as the Eight Temples beyond the Great Wall (Waibamiao). In fact, there were originally 11 temples, of which only seven now remain. Those temples are the fine combination of the Cultures of Manchu, Tibet and Han nationalities. At the end of 1994, it was listed as the world heritage by UNESCO.

Day 2 Chengde (B, L)

After breakfast at hotel, you will visit the Chengde Summer Resort. After have a lunch at hotel, transfer to the railway station and board the train to the next destination.

Chengde Summer Resort – It is the largest imperial garden and the second political center of the Qing Dynasty. The construction of Imperial Summer Resort was started in 1703; after 89 years, until the year 1792, its 124 groups of constructions had been finished. It is twice as big as the Summer Palace in Beijing.
