Day 1 Chengde
Arrive in Chengde railway station, meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Imperial Temples outside the walls of the Chengde Imperial Dwelling Palace. Built on a larger scale than any of the temples of Beijing, Imperial Temples are collectively known as the Eight Temples beyond the Great Wall. In fact, there were originally 11 temples, of which only seven now remain. Those temples are the fine combination of the Cultures of Manchu, Tibet and Han nationalities. At the end of 1994, it was listed as the world heritage by UNESCO.
Day 2 Chengde
In the morning, you will visit the Chengde Summer Resort. Chengde Summer Resort is the largest imperial garden and the second political center of the Qing Dynasty. The construction of Imperial Summer Resort was started in 1703; after 89 years, until the year 1792, its 124 groups of constructions had been finished. It is twice as big as the Summer Palace in Beijing. Transfer to the railway station and service ends.
