Itinerary

Day 1: Tianjin Xingang Port – Beijing by road

Pick up from Tianjin Xingang Port according to the cruise arrival time. Drive about 3hrs to Beijing downtown and visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world and a significant symbol of China’s more recent history and then the Forbidden City, which is also known as the Palace Museum, was where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived. It was off-limits to ordinary citizens and is the biggest and best-preserved cluster of ancient buildings in China. You will be left some time for your own lunch, followed by the Summer Palace. The other visits (entrance tickets at your own) can be flexibly arranged according to your time availability, Transfer to your hotel after the day tour. Relax and free evening at your own.

Day 2: Beijing – Tianjin Port by road

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide in the lobby and transfer to visit Badaling Great Wall. You will have a soft hike on the wall or if you want a more comfortable experience, you can take the cable car (optional cost: CNY140/US$22 pp).Afterwards, if time permits, you will also enjoy a short free time at the Olympic Park for photos (including Bird’s Nest and Water Cube). After the tour transfer back to Tianjin Xingang Port 2 hour before your cruise departure time.
