Day 01 Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai, the financial and commercial center of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the four-star Shanghai Greenland Jiulong Hotel.

Have full day sightseeing to the major attractions of the city including the Temple of Jade Buddha, Yu Garden at the Old Quarter, Shanghai Museum, the famous waterfront Bund and Nanjing Road at the shopping center.

Day 03 Shanghai / Beijing (B, D)

Today you will visit the beautiful water town of Zhujiajiao. After that, transfer to the airport and fly to Beijing, the capital of China. You will be greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the four-star Holiday Inn Downtown Hotel. You will enjoy the local flavor for dinner this evening.

Day 04 Beijing (B, L)

The highlight today is a visit to the Badaling Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization. After enjoying a delicious lunch at our carefully-selected restaurant, you will visit the Ming Tombs (Changling), the burial grounds for the 13 Ming Dynasty emperors.

Day 05 Beijing (B, L)

Morning program takes you to Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years. Enjoy the famous Sichuan cuisine at our carefully-selected restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing features the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests. On the way back to the hotel, you will have an overlook of the major Olympic Stadium and the Olympic village.

Day 06 Beijing (B, L)

Gongwangfu GardenToday you will visit the Gongwangfu Garden, the largest private mansion house in the Qing Dynasty. After that, you will have a special tour to the 700-year-old narrow streets, Hutongs, to visit the old quadrangles by the old fashioned rickshaw and learn about the daily life of ordinary Beijing residents. Today you will enjoy one of the famous cuisines in China, Huaiyang cuisine for lunch. This afternoon visit 798 factory, it is a new rising, avant-garde and trendy space that hosts high-level cultural, artistic and commercial activities.

Day 07 Beijing / Xian (B, D)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport and take the flight to Xian. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the local guide and transferred to visit the only underground museum in China, Yangling Mausoleum. Yangling Mausoleum will bring you to one of the most prosperous dynasty, Han Dynasty in Chinese history. Check in the Aurum International Hotel. After relaxing, you will go to visit the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 08 Xian (B, L)

A full day tour recalls the glories of ancient Xian as you visit the burial site of the incredible army of 8000 lifelike Terra-cotta soldiers and the City Wall. Today you will enjoy the authentic Chinese cuisine for lunch.

Day 09 Xian / Guilin (B)

Reed Flute CavesIn the morning you will fly to the scenic Guilin. Meet and transfer to four-star Guilin Hotel. Then you will visit the Reed Flute Caves where spectacular stalactites and stalagmites and the mirror lake dazzle visitors. After that, you will continue to visit Elephant Trunk Hill. Elephant Trunk Hill is regarded as the symbol of Guilin. It stands majestically at the confluence of the Li River and Taohua River, looks like a moon on the river. The stone looks like a trunk of an elephant drinking water. With a fabulous scenic view, the Elephant-trunk Hill is an outstanding tourist attraction even in early Tang and Song dynasties.

Day 10 Guilin (B, L)

Spend the day aboard a scenic Li River Cruise through the mist-shrouded limestone mountains, passing picturesque farms and fishing villages. Then you will have some relaxing time at the West Street. In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Guilin.

Day 11 Guilin / Chongqing (B, L)

After breakfast fly to Chongqing, the mountain city. After a short visit to the ancient town of Ciqikou and the Eling Park, you will board your five-star Victoria Yangtze River Cruiser.

Day 12 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)

Have an early get-up to enjoy a spectacular journey on the mighty Yangtze River. After lunch, you will disembark at the ancient Fengdu and enjoy a visit to the legendary city of ghost. Before return to the cruise for the welcome banquet, you will explore the city of ghost by visiting the local temples.

Day 13 Yangtze River Cruise (B, L, D)

Today's highlight is the cruise through the first of the fabled Three Gorges: Qutang Gorge framed by steep mossy cliffs Wu Gorge, celebrated for its 12 peaks and Xiling Gorge, the last and most scenic of all the gorges. You will have a memorable experience of the shore excursion of Shennong Stream with a sampan tour through the treacherous gorges.

Three Gorges DamDay 14 Yangtze River Cruise / Yichang / Guangzhou (B)

Today you will have a stop at Sandouping to view the historic Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydroelectric project in the world. After the shore excursion of Three Gorges Dam, you will disembark at Yichang in the afternoon. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport and fly to Guangzhou. Check in the Ocean Hotel.

Day 15 Guangzhou / Hong Kong (B, L)

Visit the Chan Family Templeand the Residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. After that, you will board express train to Hong Kong in the afternoon. Upon arrive in Hong Kong, meet and transfer to the Newton Hotel Hong Kong.

Day 16 Hong Kong (B)

Free for you to explore Hong Kong at your own interest. You may enjoy a leisurely walk to the Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Ma Tei, the Central District, Wan Chai, and Causeway Bay. Or if you are interested in shopping, you can also enjoy yourself in the shopper's paradise.

Day 17 Hong Kong (B)

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Service ends.
