Day 01 Arrive Kunming
Arrive in Kunming, known as Spring City in China, is the capital city of Yunnan Province. Upon arrival, you would be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel.
Day 02 Kunming (B)
A full day excursion takes you to the Stone Forest, one of the natural wonders of the area, and a typical Karstic Landscape. On the way, you will enjoy a visit to a typical Yi minority village and meet the local people.
Day 03 Kunming / Dali (B)
You will take a high-speed train to Dali, an important stop on the Yunnan-Tibetan Highway. In the afternoon, tour to the Erhai Lake you will find the crystal blue lake and the green mountain range nearby look alike a Chinese painting, go to Xizhou village and visit Bai minority village. Then take a look at the symbol of Dali, the Three Pagodas built 1,300 years ago. You can have a leisure stroll in Old Town Dali in the evening.
Day 04 Dali / Lijiang (B)
After breakfast, drive about 3 hours to Shaxi Ancient Town. It is the only one survival ancient bazaar on the tea-horse ancient road which was a main channel linking China and India for merchants carrying commodities including tea on horseback. Nestled in a beautiful green valley, Shaxi is a good place for traveling. You will take a leisure stroll in Sidengjie Village. In 2002, Sidengjie village in Shaxi was listed as a protected world architectural heritage site by the World Architecture Foundation. Continue to visit Shibaoshan Caves. With a history of 1300 years, there is a rich collection of Buddhist statues to admire.
Day 05 Lijiang (B)
Following breakfast today is the visit to Dr. Lock Residence in Yuhu Naxi Minority Village. In the afternoon visit to Baisha Village, where you can find many murals painted in some houses with the history of 300 years. Late afternoon, tour the Ancient Town of Dayan, a World Heritage Site in China recognized by the United Nations in 1999.
Day 06 Lijiang (B)
Today you will visit the Black Dragon Pool, and the Dongba Culture Exhibition Museum. You can admire the Dongba Pictographic Characters and Naxi Minorities mysterious culture, some of which still use the matriarchal social system up till today. Continue to visit Lashihai Lake which has been approved as a plateau wetland nature reserve in Yunnan in 1998. Surrounded by the mountains, Lashihai Lake has become the paradise of thousands of birds. You will take the horse-ride and experience local custom. At last, we will visit Shuhe Ancient Town.
Day 07 Lijiang (B)
Transfer to the airport and service concludes.
