This tour begins with excursions around two of China's major cities, Beijing and Shanghai, before traveling on to beautiful Yunnan Province. Kunming, Dali, Lijiang and Zhongdian offer a multitude of diverse attractions - folk arts of the ethnic minority people, spectacular scenery and cultural relics. The rural atmosphere of Guilin, with its precipitous limestone mountains, provides an interesting contrast to the modern and busy atmosphere of Shanghai and Beijing.

Day 01 Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport outside the luggage claim area with your name displayed and then transferred to the hotel for rest.
Day 02 Beijing (B)
Get up early today and meet our guide at your hotel lobby. Your first visit is the Temple of Heaven Park, which is the largest ancient imperial worship architecture group in the world where most Emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties prayed for peace and harvest.
Then stroll the Tian'anmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and then enter the Forbidden City, which is the residence of Chinese emperors for more than 500 years.
Day 03 Beijing (B)
Meet your guide at your hotel and then take private tour to Badaling Section of the Great Wall. Upon arriving at the Badaling Great Wall, you can either take cable car (optional cost) uphill or hike along the stairs on the wall. You may spend 2-3 hours on the symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization. Then you will visit the Summer Palace, one of the China's largest and best-preserved imperial gardens. It is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design, integrating the natural landscape of hills and open water with man-made features into a harmonious and aesthetically exceptional whole.
Day 04 Beijing / Shanghai (B)
Take private transfer to railway station and board the high-speed train to Shanghai. Meet the local guide and take private transfer to your hotel.
Day 05 Beijing / Shanghai (B)
Start the city tour to Yu Garden, the best preserved ancient Chinese garden. There are many small-commodities like handicrafts and clothes, and you can explore the sale market around all by yourself and enjoy the fun of shopping. Then travel to the Bund, appreciating the splendid Bund western buildings and the Lujiazui skylines on the other side of the Huangpu River. At the end of the tour, spend some time on the No. 1 shopping street in the country-East Nanjing Road. Transfer back to your hotel for rest.
Day 06 Shanghai / Kunming (B)
Fly to Kunming in the morning, the Spring City of China. Located on the east edge of the Tibet Plateau, Kunming is accompanied by warm weather year-round. Check into the four-star New Era Hotel. In the afternoon, you will climb the Western Hill where you will find both Taoist and Buddhism temples on the top. A very beautiful lake view of the Dianchi Lake comes into sight while you are on the top of the Dragon Hills Gate. On the way down, you will visit the Huating Temple, containing 500 sculptures of the disciples of the Buddha.
Day 07 Kunming (B)
A full day excursion takes you to the Stone Forest, one of the natural wonders of the area, and a typical Karstic Landscape. On the way, you will enjoy a visit to a typical Chinese village and meet the local people.
Day 08 Kunming / Dali (B)
You will take an early flight to Dali, an important stop on the Yunnan-Tibetan Highway. In the afternoon, tour the Erhai Lakeand enjoy the Folk Songs and Dances of the Bai ethnic minority while the famous Three Course Tea presented. You will find the crystal blue lake and the green mountain range nearby look alike a Chinese painting. Then take a look of the symbol of Dali, the Three Pagodas, built 1,300 years ago. You can have a leisurely stroll in Old Town Dali at evening.
Day 09 Dali / Lijiang (B)
Today, you will drive to Lijiang. Lijiang, bordering Tibet, is a small town with a spectacular mountain backdrop. After lunch, you will visit the Black Dragon Pool, and the Dongba Culture Exhibition Museum, which represents the Dongba Pictographic Characters and Naxi Minorities mysterious Culture, some of which still use the matriarchal social system up till today. Late afternoon, tour the Ancient Town of Dayan, a World Heritage Site in China recognized by the United Nations in 1999.
Day 10 Lijiang (B, L)
A whole day tour starts with a visit to Yufeng Si, a traditional Lamasery famous for its 1000-year-old Camellia Tree. Take cable car ascending Jade Dragon Snow Mountain to visit Yak grassland, and tour the Baisha Mural in Baisha Naxi minority village.
Day 11 Lijiang / Zhongdian (B)
Full day tour takes you to northwest of Lijiang Old Town to visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, which is believed to be the deepest gorge in the world. Continue driving to Zhongdian and check into the hotel.
Day 12 Zhongdian / Kunming (B)
Visit Samzoling Monastery, Pudacuo Scenic Area including Bita Lake, Shudu Lake and Xiagei Tibetan Village. Fly back to Kunming in the late afternoon and check into the hotel.
Day 13 Kunming / Guilin (B)
Morning is free. This afternoon fly to the mystical city---Guilin. With its thousands of limestone outcroppings, Guilin has inspired generations of silk scroll painters. Check into the hotel.
Day 14 Guilin (B)
Appreciate the beauty surrounding Guilin on your Li River Cruise to Yangshuo. The scenery is unmatched in the world, with sheer mountain peaks rising straight out of the fields. See the fishermen taking their daily catch from the jade green waters. Then you will have a relaxing time in the famous West Street. Drive back to Guilin in later afternoon.
Day 15 Guilin (B)
After breakfast in the hotel, transfer to the airport and board on your departure flight. Service ends.
