Day 02 Shanghai (B)
After breakfast, drive to Shanghai Railway Museum. Shanghai Railway Museum was constructed on the original site of old Shanghai Northern Station from 1909 and open to the public in 2004. It features British classic architectural style and includes nearly 800 pieces of exhibits from old Shanghai Railway. Then procced to Yu Garden, the best preserved ancient Chinese garden. There are many small-commodities like handicrafts and clothes, and you can explore the sale market around all by yourself and enjoy the fun of shopping. Then travel to the Bund, appreciating the splendid Bund western buildings and the Lujiazui skylines on the other side of the Huangpu River. At the end of the tour, spend some time on the No. 1 shopping street in the country-East Nanjing Road.
Day 03 Shanghai / Beijing (B)
Arise early and travel to Zhujiajiao, a water town close by Shanghai, has an history of 1,700 years. The town accumulated wealth from its clothing and rice businesses and had been prospered in the past. Walk along the old streets with many historical buildings on the sides or take a relaxing boat ride in water canals. With the backdrops of arched stone bridges, white walls and gray tiles, bustling life and people, visitors almost find themselves be back to China 100 years ago. At night, drive you to Shanghai Railway Station to catch the overnight high-speed train for Beijing.
Day 04 Beijing (B)
Early in the morning, meet your guide at the railway station and transfer to the hotel for breakfast. Take the first visit to China Railway Museum. Built in 2002, China Railway Museum covers an area of 16500 square meters and displays nearly 60 engines from different periods in the history of Chinese railway. After lunch, continue to the Forbidden City, the world's largest palace complex, and the Tiananmen Square, the heart of urban Beijing.
Day 05 Beijing (B)
Today's tour will take you to visit The Great Wall --- Wonder of the World. On your way back, you will visit the Ming Tomb, where you can see the underground palace of the Chinese emperor from the Ming Dynasty with their valuable authentic burial objects. In the evening, enjoy the typical Peking Opera.
Day 06 Beijing / Shenyang (B)
Take the morning ride in three-wheeled rickshaws through Beijing's quaint alleys - Hutong, experiencing the lifestyle of the Beijing locals. In the afternoon, you continue to Temple of Heaven, where Chinese emperors used to pray the good harvest. Drive to the railway station and take the high-speed train from Beijing to Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province. Meet you guide at the railway station and transfer to the hotel.
Day 07 Shenyang (B)
Morning tour takes you to Diaobingshan Steam Engine Museum located 96 kilometers away from Shenyang. Honored as the Flowing Steam Engine Museum, it collects 21 steam engines of various types from different periods and has attracted many tourists for the visit every year. In the afternoon, take a visit to Zhao Mausoleum, the tomb of Huangtaiji, the second emperor of the Qing Dynasty.
Day 08 Shenyang / Changchun (B)
Today's visit is Shenyang Imperil Palace, the highlight of Shenyang tour. Founded in 1624, Shenyang Imperial Palace is one of the few historic Chinese sites that epitomize an ethnic minority culture, along with the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. In the afternoon, take the high-speed train to Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province. Meet your tour guide at the station and transfer to the hotel and rest.
Day 09 Changchun / Beijing (B)
Morning tour takes you to Changchun Puppet Regime Imperial Palace. It was the palace for Puyi, the last emperor of Qing Dynasty, who became the puppet emperor of the Japanese-created state of Manchukuo. In the palace you also have chance to take a visit to Steam Engine locomotive exhibition. In the afternoon, go to Changchun Movie City tourist zone. After night, take the overnight train back to Beijing.
Day 10 Beijing (B)
Meet your guide at the station in the morning and transfer back to the hotel for breakfast. Drive to Beijing D·PARK751 Plaza. The scattered orderly industrial plants, crisscross pipelines, and slogans of different eras on the wall together create a fascinating montage of history and reality. There you can see the old steam engine. In the afternoon, free time at leisure.
Day 11 Beijing (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Service ends.
