Wuxi cuisine is based on the Huai'an-Yangzhou style, one of the four major schools of Chinese cuisine. It is fairly sweet and uses of many types of seafood. Wuxi dim sums are a must-try, especially the "three-fresh" wonton (sanxian huntun), small steamed dumplings (xiaolong bao), square cakes (fang gao), sugar taro (tang yutou), glutinous rice dumplings (tangyuan) and turnip slice patties (luobosi bing). Other delicacies include Wuxi Spareribs, Liangxi Crispy Eel, Fried White Fish, Crystal Shrimp Meat and Jellied Bean Curd.
